The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, October 26, 1990

Duane H. Iler, 56, died October 24.  He was born Iin Lansing on May 24, 1934.  
He was the son of Earl and Elsie (Clark) Iler.  He was employed by B.O.C. for 
many years and was also a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Surviving him are: his son, Larry Iler of Fontana, California, his daughter, 
Laura Gibbs of Portland, two grandchildren, his father and step-mother, Earl 
and Bernice Iler of Portland, his brother, James Iler of California, and a 
special friend, Mary Louise Lee of Laingsburg.  He was preceded in death by 
his mother, Elsie, and his brother, Larry Iler.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Neller Funeral Home, Portland 
with the Rev. Thomas Taylor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church of the 
Nazarene officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in 
Laingsburg.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 
7-9 p.m. on Friday.
