Ionia Sentinel Standard - Sept. 9, 1982
Howard H. Imhoff, 67, of 268 Blanchard St., Muir, died Tuesday morning at his 
residence. 

He was born June 26, 1915, in Greenville, the son of Howard and Florence Burke 
Imhoff. He attended Gand Ledge schools and was married to Phylis Schaefer in 
1944.

They were residents of Grand Ledge, Lyons and Sunfield before they moved to 
Muir in 1952.

He was a retired machinist for the Lundberg Screw Products Company in Lansing.

Surviving are his wife; four sons: Howard of Muir, Daniel, Dennis and Steven of 
Oklahoma; two daughters; Mrs. Janet Ferris of Muir and Mrs. Pam Smith of 
Lansing; one brother; Charles of Vermontville; four sisters: Mrs. Mary Nveth of 
Grand Ledge, Mrs. Alice Dumond of Eagle, Mrs. Gretchen Wills of Lansing and 
Mrs. Ruth Smith of Big Rapids; 10 grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Hull Memorial chapel 
in Muir, the Rev. Robert Larsen officiating.

Burial will be in Muir cemetery.
