Dan was born March 16, 1939 in Lake Odessa to Lyle and Mildred (Williams) Ingall. He graduated from Lake Odessa High School in 1957. He attended Michigan State University graduating form the Agriculture Short-term program. Dan worked the family farms and did extensive custom farming in the tri- county area. He owned and operated Ingall machine Products, founded by his father Lyle. The business manufactured automatic screw machine products, primarily for the automotive industry. Dan married Carol Lathrop March 19, 1960. Together they raised two children, Kirk and Lisa, later they divorced. He had a lifelong interest in the environment and politics before it was cool. Dan spent many recent years traveling adventurously including, Archibald Biological Station, Buck Island University of Florida Experimental Ranch. He traveled and resided in Florida, Tennessee, South Dakota, Alaska and Oregon before returning to the family farm in Sebewa. Dan was a man of his word and straight forward and honest as they come. Dan is survived by his son, Kirk (Vicki) and granddaughter, Chelsea of Carmel, IN: brother, David (Carol Brooks) of Grand Ledge; sister, Dawn of Lake Odessa; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dan was preceded into eternity by his daughter, Lisa; sister-in-law, Sally (Eash) Ingall and his parents. According to Dan's wishes no services will be held and a private burial will take place later. Dan believed in stewardship; Leave things Better than you found them and leave a small footprint.
