Rev. Sylvester W. Ingalls, aged 77 years, former well known Danby resident, 
passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mable Clark, at Big Rapids, last 
Friday forenoon.  The remains were laid to rest in the Danby Cemetery.

Rev. Ingalls was born in Danby where he lived until he entered the ministry 
about 40 years ago.  Since then he had preached in various Free Methodist 
churches throughout the state.  He was married to Miss Sarah Bidwell, daughter 
of Jasper Bidwell, who died seven years ago.  For some time Rev. Ingalls had 
been on the retired list and made his home with his daughter, at Big Rapids.  
He was a brother of Hall J. Ingalls, of Sebewa.
