Chester C. “Ted” Ingraham, 85, of Ionia died May 7, 1997.  He was born Nov. 25, 
1911 in Portland.  He retired from farming and as manager of the cafeteria at 
T.R.W. in Portland after 23 years.  He is survived by his wife, Bernice 
(Bernie) of Ionia.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 9 at 2 p.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman 
Co. Neller Chapel, 210 Bridge Street in Portland, with Rev. Elaine M. Buker, 
pastor of the Portland United Methodist Church officiating.  Interment will 
follow in North Eagle Cemetery in Eagle.  Friends may call at the chapel 
beginning Thursday at 5 p.m., where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. 
to 9 p.m.
