Alanson (Lanty) Ingraham, 87, of 305 Divine Highway, Portland, died Tuesday in a
Lansing hospital.  Born July 20, 1895, in Lupton, Mich., he was the son of Henry
and Julia Snyder Ingraham.  A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the
Portland American Legion Post.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Payne and Mrs. Josephine Davis, both of
Portland, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday from the Neller Funeral Home,
Portland, with the Rev. Dow Chamberlain officiating.  Burial will be in Portland
Cemetery.
