Ingrim-Hessler, 81, of Greenville, formerly of Belding, passed away Monday afternoon, Jan. 28, 2002, at United Memorial Health Center, Greenville. The daughter of Harold and Nellie Mooney Barnes, she was born July 4, 1920, in Terre Haute, Ind. Dorothy had worked as an executive secretary at the former White Consolidated Industries, retiring in 1985. She had been a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding, and was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Greenville. Surviving are her children, Dick and Carol Ingrim of Greenville, Linda and Frank Taber of Lowell, a son-in-law, Jack Emmons of Stanton; her stepchildren, Ted and Betty Hessler, Jack and Beverly Hessler, David Hessler, Patricia O’Connor; eight grandchildren, Tami and Steve Drake of Stanton, Jack Emmons and his fiancée Kathy Schaffer, Matthew Emmons, Michelle Ingrim, all of Greenville, Stacy and Dr. Jerry Durfee, Rachel and Jerry Beute, all of Grand Rapids, Aaron Taber of Chicago, Ill., Brienne Taber of Lowell; her great-grandchildren, Cody and Caleb Drake, Hillary, Ryan and Lucas Emmons, Brayden and Trevor Durfee, Hunter Scott, Myles Beute and Kaleb Taber. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Everett “Bud” Ingrim, in 1970 and Lyle Hessler, in 1974; a daughter, Pamela Emmons, in 1999; and a brother, Jim Barnes. Mass of Christian burial for Dorothy will be celebrated at noon Saturday at St. Charles Catholic Church, Greenville, with the Rev. Father Fred Brucker officiating. Burial will follow in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery.
