Funeral services were held Wednesday from the house, Rev. Willard K. Spencer officiating. Pall bearers were Fred Cutler, Eugene Vohlers, Robert Baerd, Fred Catt, Heber Waldron and Edward Marshal. Interment was made in Highland Park cemetery. Mr. Inman leaves a wife and three children, Jay and Fred, of Saginaw, and a daughter, Bessie, of Cleveland, the former being unable to be here for the funeral owing to an accident which he sustained a few weeks ago. For eighteen years, Mr. Inman represented the 4th ward in the city, being re- elected term after term and serving his constituents with excellent satisfaction. Until incapacitated by illness he was employed for years as a lineman on the Pere Marquette. Mr. Inman was born in New York, coming to Michigan in 1874 and has made Ionia his home since that time. He was a member of both the Odd Fellows and Ladies of Security fraternal orders. The deceased had for years been a commanding figure in the political life of the city, and so well did he respond to the will of his followers, that of late years he was returned to office without opposition.
