She had been ill many months. Her home was formerly at 351 Lafayette street. Her late husband, William Inman, was supervisor in the fourth ward several years. Her activities in her home town were her associations with the Relief Corps, Beatrice Rebekah lodge, and Mrs. T. B. Preston’s class of the Church of Christ. She is survived by three children, Fred and Jay, of Saginaw, and Bessie, of Los Angeles, at whose home she had spent many winters, also four grandchildren. Fred Inman was expected in Ionia Thursday afternoon to complete the funeral arrangements. Subsequent Publication: September 30, 1927 The casket bearing the remains of Mrs. Rebecca Inman, of Saginaw, arrived in Ionia Friday afternoon and was taken to her home at 351 Lafayette street. A prayer service will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the house and the funeral services will be conducted from the Church of Christ at 3 o’clock. Rev. Herbert G. Hurrell will officiate. Burial will be in the Highland Park cemetery. Subsequent Publication: Monday, October 3, 1927 Funeral services for Mrs. Rebecca Inman were held from the home at 351 Lafayette street at 2:30 and from the Church of Christ at 3 o’clock Saturday, with Rev. H. G. Hurrell officiating. Mrs. Ray Curtiss, Mrs. Frank Hall, and Mrs. Ted Bloomer furnished the music. The pallbearers were James Hanigan, William Beals, George Comstock and Judson Coe. Interment was made at Highland Park cemetery beside her husband. The funeral was well attended, with the Rebeccas going in a body. The Ladies’ Relief Corps and Mrs. Preston’s Sunday school class were well represented.
