The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, August 13, 1947

Mrs. Ione Inman, 69, North Jackson street, died at 6 o’clock Tuesday evening 
at Butterworth hospital, Grand Rapids, after being ill for two weeks.

Mrs. Inman was born in Langston but moved to Ionia when a young girl.  She 
became the wife of John N. Inman in 1896.  After the death of her husband in 
July, 1939, Mrs. Inman studied nursing.  At one time she nursed at the Ionia 
County Memorial hospital. Up until the time of the illness preceding her 
death, she was employed as a nurse both on private cases and at the Ionia 
Convalescent home.

Surviving her are seven cousins, Mrs. Truey B. Larson, Mrs. Frank Donley, Mrs. 
Frank Mann, Leo Case and LaVerne Case, all of Greenville, one of Oregon and 
the other Washington state; and one step-sister of Washington.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the 
Stone funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Davis officiating.  Interment will be 
in Oak Hill cemetery.
