She was for many years a correspondent for the Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard. She was born June 16, 1879 in Sebewa township and had lived in Smyrna since 1893. Mrs. Insley was state chaplain of the Maccabees, a member of the Eastern Star and the Friendship club. She was married to Edward Insley, who survives, in August 1897. Surviving besides the husband are two sons, Clifford of Grand Rapids and Howard of Smyrna and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services are to be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at the Fitzjohn funeral home at Belding. Burial will be at Smyrna cemetery.
