Jacqueline Ireland, 74 of Battlefield, Mo., died Wednesday, December 29, 2010. 
She was born June 17, 1936 in Muir, Mich., the daughter of John and Norma 
Eckley. She was employed by the State of Michigan Corrections Department for 20 
years.

She will be missed greatly by her two daughters Kimberly (Rich) Campbell of 
Battlefield, Mo. And Tracy Morgan of Saranac, MI. She was the “best Nana ever” 
to three granddaughters, Cori Clark, Lauren Gierzak, Leeza Gierzak and two 
grandsons, Jon Clark and Riley Morgan. She was also blessed with one great-
grandson, Daniel Clark and great-granddaughter, Layla FaFay and another great-
granddaughter “on the way”. She brought joy and laughter to everyone she met 
and was a friend who would always e there to help, listen and love 
unconditionally. She lived at Kiwanis Manor in Charlotte for eight years and 
flourished with the love and friendships she was surrounded by. A memorial 
luncheon will be held this spring at North Plains Church in Muir.
