The remains will be brought to Ionia at 11:42 Wednesday morning for burial which will take place in Oak Hill cemetery, Rev. W. K. Spanger officiating. Mr. Irish was in the drug business in Ionia for many years until about 25 years ago, his store being located where the Mystic theater now is. Henry Irish was a son of David Irish and a brother of Ed. Irish, Mrs. C. C. Eyster, Miss Laura Irish and Mrs. L. F. Mills. He moved to Grand Haven and ran a hotel there after he left Ionia. While in Ionia he bought out F. C. Sibley’s drug business which he ran for many years. He lived in the home on East Washington street now owned by Chas. A. Ireland, which house he built. Mr. Irish lost his wife about two years ago and was here for a time after that making his home with his sister, Mrs. Mills. In 1850 and later he was in the hotel business in Detroit where he ran the old Michigan Exchange. He leaves one son, Frank Irish. Subsequent Publication: Wednesday, April 22, 1914 The remains of Henry Irish, who died Tuesday morning in Grand Rapids will be brought to Ionia Thursday morning at 11:45 and will be taken direct to Oak Hill for burial.
