PORTLAND- Carol A. Irons, 48, of 222 Elm St., Portland, died July 11 in 
Grayling as a result of an automobile accident.

She was born April 26, 1941 in Big Rapids, the daughter of Dominic and Carolyn 
(Lutjens) Spedoske.

Surviving her are two sons, Jack Williams and Jon Carl, both of Portland; three 
daughters, Sheri Churitt of Clarkston, Wash., Tammy Warren and Mary Thelen, 
both of Portland; 14 grandchildren; her mother, Carolyn, who was also injured 
in the accident and is in critical condition; five brothers, Michael of Grand 
Island, N.Y., Steven, William, John and Robert, all of Portland; four sisters, 
Betty Kiter of Dimondale, Kathy Smith, Mary Hoppes, and Sally Goodrich all of 
Portland.

She was a member of St. Patrick' Catholic Church in Portland.

Rosary will be recited Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Neller funeral Home in 
Portland.

Funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in 
Portland, the Rev. Fr. Richard Van Lente officiating.

Burial will be in Portland Cemetery.
