Irving, a former physician of Lyons and Ionia, were held at the Bradley funeral home Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the body arriving from Cincinnati, O., at noon. Dr. Irving died Monday following a heart attack. He was born in Scotland, and was about 60 years of age. He first fitted himself rot eh Adventist ministry, but at the age of 29 began studying medicine. After practicing for several years he took a course in Vienna, specializing in ear, eye, nose and throat. After leaving Ionia he went to Coal City, Ill., and later to Cincinnati, O., for hospitalization work. Mrs. Irving died about two years ago. A son, Ingram, a student in the Berrien Springs Adventist academy, survives.
