IRVING
Frederick J. Irving Jr., age 81 of Lowell passed away September 4, 2020 in 
Lowell. He was born February 19, 1939 in New York, the son of Frederick and 
Anna (Carr) Irving. Fred moved to Michigan in 1974. He enjoyed his days 
driving semi-trucks over the road and loved horses, especially his special 
horse Red. He was very proud of his hometown New York (The Bronx) and his 
favorite teams The Giants and the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Fred is survived by his children, Stephanie (Jason) Smith of Saranac and 
Shane Irving of Saranac; grandchildren, Kellan Smith, Brennan Smith, Morgan 
(Kent) Jones and Maddison Irving; great-grandson Jaxon Jones; brothers, 
Kenneth Irving of New York and Brian (Lisa) Irving of North Carolina and many 
nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Veronica Irving.

Services will be held in New York at a later date. Services in care of Lake 
Funeral Home in Saranac. Memorial contributions may be made to Saranac
