          MRS. ROSE M. IRWIN
   LAKE ODESSA   ---  Mr. Rose M. Irwin 83, died Friday night at the Lansing General
hospital after being a patient two months.
   She was born in Odessa township February 11, 1892 the daughter of Jacob and Ella
Martin Warner, and was a life long resident of the Lake Odessa area
   She was a member of the Lake Odessa Order of Eastern Star, past president of the
Ionia County Order of Eastern Star.  American Red Cross past chairman, secretary of the 
Lake Odessa Community Chest, member of the Central United Methodist Women.  She had 
been employed as bookkeeper for the Lake Odessa Canning company, retiring in 1957.
   Surviving are a son, Donald of Lansing, and three grandchildren.
   Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Pickens-Koop funeral chapel at
Lake Odessa.  Rev. William Hertel will officiate and interment will be at the 
Lakeside cemetery.
   Commital services will be conducted at the funeral chapel.
