August 1, 1923 POTTER'S CORNERS The funeral of Dudley Irwin was held at the Keene church Friday afternoon. Rev. Osbourne, of Belding officiating. Mr.Irwin had been ill many weeks and died at his home in Belding at the age of 75 years. He leaves his wife, two sons Herbert, of Ionia, and Leonard at home, and five daughters, Mrs.Ada Hart of Keene,Mrs. Blanche Reed of Muskegon,Mrs. Helen Hendricks of Vestaburg. Mrs. Ola Cook of Belding. Mrs Irene Perkins of Ionia, Herbert, the oldest son, died in France, during the World War. The bearers were old neighbors of Mr.Irwin's while he lived in Keene as follows; A.M.Kohn, Henry Fashbaugh, Dan Carr, James Hopkins, Alonzo Frost, and Norman Higgins. The musical selections were beautifully rendered by Eula Cahoon, at the organ. Burial took place at the Marble Cemetery.
