Belding Banner-News Thurs.February 14, 1963

                             George D.Irwin

George D.Irwin 70, of Muskegon and formerly of Belding, brother of the late 
Mrs.Ola E.Hunter, died at his home Feb. 7. He had been in ill health for about 
five years.

Born in Ionia County, September 12, 1892, Mr.Irwin attended World War I. He 
returned to Belding and married the former Zora Whittaker, Jan. 23, 1928. In 
1941, the couple moved to Muskegon.

He leaves his widow and one daughter, Mrs.Georgiana Gagnon of Holton; one 
brother, Leonard of Colorado Springs; three sisters,Mrs.Ada Richmond of Lowell, 
Mrs.Helen Hendricks of Lacota and Mrs.Floyd Joslin of Muskegon Heights; and four 
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Feb.9, and he was buried in the Saranac Cemetery.
