Adabelle Irwin, Grand Ledge, age 87, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011.  Mrs. Irwin
was born December 19, 1923 in Sebewa Township, a daughter of Orrin and Ethel
(Bagnell) Franks.  She was a beautician and operated a beauty parlor for many
years.

Mrs. Irwin was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert G. Irwin; son, Herbert
O. Irwin; daughter, Linda L. Paul; and her brothers, Roy, Walter, Dale, Clarence
and Andy Franks.  Surviving are her grandchildren, Rick (Diana) Paul and Amy
(Josh) Barrett, both of Mulliken; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Andrea Paul,
Nicholas, Ryan and Emily Barrett; son-in-law, Douglas Paul of Grand Ledge;
sister, Della Messer of Lake Odessa; special nephew, Bill Franks of Florida.

Services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011, at Barker-Leik Funeral
Home, Mulliken, with Pastor Bruce Sabados officiating.  Interment was in
Meadowbrook Cemetery.
