Ionia Daily Sentinel, 15 Mar 1915

Wm. Isham, aged 75, an old pioneer resident of Lyons died Saturday evening at the 
county farm where he was taken a few days ago suffering from paralysis.  Mr. 
Isham went to Alabama about 20 years ago with the men who went to enter in the 
Wagar lumbering operations there.  He was sent back to his home a short time ago 
after he had suffered a stroke of paralysis which left him helpless and 
speechless.  Later he was brought to the county hospital here for care and 
treatment, but continued to fail until his death.
