Isham, 62, died Monday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Goodwin, 606 Harrison street, after an illness of several months. He was born June 8, 1880 in Montcalm county and had spent most of his life in Ionia, Flint and St. Johns. He was a veteran of World war one, serving as a private in the demolition group of the 21st engineers from 1917 to 1919. He served with the United States army overseas as a cook. He was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving him is a brother, Fred Isham, of Jackson, several nephews, two of which are serving in World war two. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Myers funeral home. Rev. F.G. Dunbar will officiate and burial will be in Balcom cemetery.
