Lyons Herald, 29 Mar 1917

Mrs. C.N. Isham, aged 66 years and 8 months, died March 20th, 1917, of heart 
disease, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L.M. Ashley, in Sioux City, Iowa.

Florence M. Hutchinson was born at Bedford, Ohio, July 20, 1850, and came to 
Lyons with her parents in April, 1867.  She was united in marriage to C.N. 
Isham on November 21, 1875.  Mr. Isham died March 14, 1915.  Mrs. Isham resided 
here until 1904, when she went to Sioux City, Iowa, and has since made her home 
with a daughter.  Deceased was a charter member of the Lyons chapter Order of 
Eastern Star, and was librarian of the Ladies Library of this village for many 
years.  Besides a host of friends, she is survived by three children: Hubert A. 
Isham of Lyons; Mrs. L.M. Ashley and Frank N. Isham, both of Sioux City.  After 
services at Sioux City, the body was brought to Lyons on Monday, accompanied by 
Hubert Isham, and interment was made in the Lyons cemetery.
