Albert Winston Ives of Olivet, formerly of Portland, Beloved father, 
grandfather passed away on Jan. 7, 2007.

He was born in Sunfield, the son of Aaron and Grace Ives. He married Mildred 
Ives on Oct. 26, 1937 and she preceded him in death on March 23, 1993. He was 
also preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Stanley Ives and his 
daughter, Patricia Girwood. 

Winston retired in 1977, after 30 years as a meat cutter for the Sunfield IGA 
Store. He also worked as a television technician for 25 years at Beebe’s T.V. 
Shop in Ionia.

Surviving are a daughter, Denise (Chris) Beechler; grandchildren, Teresa (Dave) 
Pietrangelo, Perry (Cathy) Chenoweth, Melanie (Chad) Pierce, Jeremy (Becky) 
Beechler and Angela (Nicholas) Hartwick; 10 grandchildren. 

Service was conducted by Rev. Robert Girdwood Jan. 10 at the Schrauben-Lehman 
Funeral Home, Portland. Interment followed at East Sebewa Cemetery.
