Death Takes Another Familiar Resident

Edward Jackson passes at ripe age of 80 years.  Funeral at his home Wednesday.

Edward Jackson, who for many years has lived about two and a half miles west of 
town died at his home Monday afternoon after a lingering illness of heart 
trouble and old age.

Mr. Jackson was 89 years old, had been a hard worker and was known to nearly 
every old resident anywhere around.

Very faithful and honest and loyal, beloved by his family, he will be greatly 
missed by them.

The funeral was held at the farm home Wednesday afternoon.  Rev. P. B. Messener 
preached and burial was at Lake Side cemetery.
