Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 29 Sep 1950

Mrs. Ida Jackson, widow of Harris Jackson who was former superintendent at the 
Ionia County farm, died at 6 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s hospital in Ann 
Arbor.  She had been a patient there for several days.

Her husband preceded her in death on May 20, 1950.  She was a former high 
priestess of the Ionic White Shrine, a member of the First Methodist church and 
of the O.E.S.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Marian Gillispie, of Ypsilanti.

The body was brought to the Boynton funeral home late Friday afternoon where 
services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday.  Dr. Howard A. Smith will officiate.  
Interment will be in Seaman cemetery, Bailey.
