Ionia County News, 23 Apr 1942

Ray William Jackson, 63, died Tuesday night, April 21.  He was born April 27, 
1879, on a farm northeast of Prairie Creek, the son of Albert and Isabelle 
Jackson.  His mother died when he was 14 years old and he lived with his aunt, 
Helen Jackson, until her death in 1924.

Surviving are three brothers, Chester, of Detroit, Harvey of Ionia and Leon of 
Durand.

Funeral services will be held at two o’clock Friday afternoon, April 24, at the 
home of Harvey E. Jackson.  Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery.
