The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, October 1953

Mrs. Margaret Jackson, 81, of Detroit, formerly of Ionia, died Monday 
afternoon in Detroit.  Mrs. Jackson was born February, 1872, in Down, Ireland.

Surviving are four sons, Hugh, Earl, Paul of Detroit, and Charles of Silver 
Springs, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Burtch of Ionia.  Her husband, Chester 
Jackson, died July, 1950.

Rosary will be recited at the Myers funeral home Wednesday at 7:30.  Funeral 
services will be held Thursday morning at 9 a.m. at the SS. Peter and Paul 
church.  Interment will be in the family lot at Mount Olivet cemetery.
