Ionia Daily Standard, 6 & 7 Mar 1908

Comfort W. Jackson died at Belding this morning, and the remains will be brought
to Ionia at 11:20 on Saturday morning for interment in Highland Park.  Deceased
was many years a resident of Ionia.  He is survived by the wife, and one
daughter, Mrs. A.B. Spinney.

The remains of Comfort W. Jackson were bought to Ionia from Belding this
morning, for interment in Highland Park.  The bereaved wife was too ill to come,
but the daughter, Mrs. Spinney, ever faithful to him in life, accompanied the
remains of the father to their last earthly resting place.  There was a brief
burial service at the grave.  George Douglass, E.S. Welch, Wallace Haight, Henry
J. Schild, M.M. McGeary and F.A. Stiven acted as bearers.  Deceased was aged 62
years and 7 months.
