Jackson, 51, of route one, Lake Odessa died Saturday at 4:45 p.m. in Blodgett Memorial Hospital in Grand Rapids where she had been a patient four days. Mrs. Jackson has been in ill health for several years. Born October 5, 1916 in Carleton township, Barry county, she was the daughter of Cleon and Nina Place Landon and attended Hastings High School. She was married to Carl E. Jackson on August 24, 1935 and they spent most of their married life at Morrison lake near Clarksville. She was employed by General Motors Diesel Equipment corporation in Grand Rapids. Surviving are her husband; daughter, Mrs. Ronald Cobb of Lake Odessa; two sons, Daryl of Saranac and Harold at home; mother of Hastings; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Yarger and Mrs. Leon Mesecan of Hastings; five brothers, Wilbur, Richard and Wayne Landon of Hastings, Russell of Freeport and James of Portland. Body will be at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa with services Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel. Rev. Ernest Crocker will officiate. Burial is to be in Lakeside cemetery.
