Lake O. Wave, Thursday, Dec. 20, 1979

St. Johns- Mr. H. Jud Jackson, 76, of Elsie, Mich., died Dec. 10, at St. Johns 
Hospital in St. Johns, Mich., following a long illness.

He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Edith) Jackson who resided west of 
Lake Odessa for many years.

Mr. Jackson had retired from General Motors about 12 years ago.

Two brothers preceded him in death: Lloyd of Los Angeles, Calif. and Clyde of 
Lake Odessa.

Surviving are his wife, Velma of Elsie; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Arlene) 
Keyes and Mrs. Margaret Hinman; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren 
all of Lansing; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Arla Jackson of Los Angeles, Calif. and 
Mrs. Alice Jackson of Lake Odessa; and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers were nephews Mr. Wayne C. Jackson of Wyoming, Mich., Mr. 
Harold L. Jackson of Hastings, Mr. Frederic (Rick) Jackson of Lake Odessa and 
grandsons Gregory, Robert and James Keyes of Lansing. 

Services were held Dec. 12 at the Gorsline-Runcimen Chapel, with burial in 
Deepdale Memorial Park in North Lansing.
