Lake Odessa Wave - November 7, 1924
    John W. Jackson was born Nov. 7, 1869 in Berlin township and died Oct. 17, 1924
at University Hospital at 
Ann Arbor of acute heart failure.
   He moved with his parents to Campbell township when 1 1/2 years of age, where he
has lived most of his 
life.  A few years was lived in Grand Rapids.
   In 1894 he married Anna Bell Covert and to this union were born two sons, Andrew
Verne and Edward  C., 
both of Detroit.
   After the death of his wife in 1910 he moved to the home of his aged father and
mother, Mr. and Mrs. 
Edward Jackson, west of town who survive him.
   Three brothers and two sisters survive aside from the sons and parents.
   The funeral was held at the Calvary U. B. church Monday, Oct. 20.  Rev. Isaac
Mourer and Rev. Peter 
Messiner gave talks and Mrs. Lulu Mourer and Verda Gattiner sang.  Burial was at
Lakeside Cemetery.
