Lake Odessa Wave - January 16, 1975
          SERVICES HELD FOR KENNETH JACKSON
   Kenneth A. Jackson, 62, Rte, one, Lake Odessa, passed away Friday morning at
Pennock Hospital, Hastings 
where he had been hospitalized four days following an extended illness.
   He was born at Lake Odessa, March 18, 1912, the son of Benjamin and Cora
(Mutschler) Jackson and was a 
lifelong resident of the area and retired from farming in 1971 because of his
health.  Mr. Jackson was a past 
member of the Lake Odessa Co-op Elevator Board.
   He married Ivah Bushnell, December 21, 1934.
   Surviving are his wife, Ivah; four daughters, Mrs. David (Joan) Brodbeck and Mrs.
Benjamin (Donna) McCaul 
both of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Arnold (Beverly) Raffler of Woodland, Mrs. Joseph (
Bonnie) Drombrowski of 
Jenison; one son, Lester of Lake Odessa; 14 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Merrill
(Beatrice) Patrick of 
Saranac and Mrs. Robert (Wanda) Beard of Lake Odessa and three brothers, Marion,
Wayne and LaVerne, all 
of Lake Odessa.
   Mr. Jackson reposed at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel where funeral services
were held at 1:30 Monday 
with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.  Rev. Arthur Heisler and Rev. James Kinsey
officiated.
   A memorial is being established for the arthritic fund and envelopes are
available at the chapel.
