JACKSON -- Mr. Orva Jackkson, retired Captain, Michigan State Police, age 86, of
1444 Sweet St. NE., passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 17, 1979 at his home He is 
survived by his wife, Zelma M. Jackson; one daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Joan) Everhart of 
Spring Lake; two grandsons, David Everhart of Diamondale, and Donald Everhart of 
Spring Lake ; one brother, Harold Jackson of Spencer, Ind. Services will be held at 11:00 
Friday morning at the funeral chapel, with Rev. Mearl Bradley, Chaplin of the Michigan 
State Police, officiating.  
Relatives and friends may meet his family at the chapel from 7 to 9 on Wednesday and
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Thursday. Mr. Jckson reposes at the Reyers North Valley 
Funeral Chapel, 2815 Fuller NE. at 3 Mile Rd.
