Excerpts from Grand Rapids Obituary

ZELMA MARY JACKSON 
Died Saturday, December 17, 1983-age 84 of Spring Lake at North Ottawa Hospital.
Born June 21, 1899 in South Rockwood, Michigan.
Formerly of 1444 Sweet St.Grand Rapids, MI.
Is the Widow of Capt. Orva Jackson, who retired from the Michigan State Police.
Survived by one daughter, Mrs.Eugene (Joan) Everhart of Spring Lake; two 
grandsons, David Everhart of Dimondale,MI and Donald Everhart of Aurora,IL, one 
sister, Mrs.Ruth Berry of Holt, MI and one brother, Delmont Chapman Jr. of South 
Rockwood MI.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11 am from Christ Unity Church 
with Rev.Richard Rhem and Mrs. John Moser officiating.
Interment at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa,MI.
Visitation Sunday 7-9 p.m. at the Funeral Home, 
Vanzantwick, Bartels Kammerraad, at Spring Lake.
