Jackson, 74, died in Harper hospital, Detroit, Monday night after an illness of about two months. Mr. Jackson was born in Ionia the won of Mr. and Mrs. George K. Jackson, whose home at Union street and Lincoln avenue is now the property of Glenn Thorpe. He attended school in Ionia, but left years ago and was employed in Chicago as a traveling salesman for the Nonotuck Silk company. About 25 years ago he went to Detroit where he invested in real estate and has owned and managed apartment houses there for a number of years. He also owned the 330 acre Jackson farm at Prairie Creek. Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Blanche, and a sister, Mrs. Jeanette Williston, of Ionia. Jackson Fleckenstein of Ionia is (illegible word) nephew. Funeral services will beheld in Detroit Friday afternoon. The body will arrive in Ionia at 3:35 o'clock Saturday morning on the Grand Trunk train and will be taken to the home of his nephew, Jackson Fleckenstein, 419 Union street. A brief prayer service will be held at the home at 11 o'clock Saturday morning. Rev. Henry A. Hanson will officiate and burial will be in the family lot in Highland Park cemetery.
