Born January 23, 1868, in Pewamo, she was the daughter of P. G. Corey and Mary Millard, both of New York state. She moved to Muir when a child, and has lived there since. She taught school in Muir and Pewamo. She was graduated from the Muir high school in 1886. She was a member of the Muir Presbyterian church, a charter member of the Christian Endeavor society, and a charter member of the Muir Ladies Library club. About 42 years ago she was married to Thomas E. Jackson, who survives her. Funeral services will beheld on Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Muir Presbyterian church. Rev. Paul Stewart, assisted by Dr. Herbert Simpson, will officiate, and burial will be in the Muir cemetery. The body will repose at the Shaw-Rivett funeral chapel until one hour before services at the church. Pallbearers will be Wilbur Wiggins, Wilson Keefer, Otto Ulrich, George MacGillivray, Bradley Dinehart and Lyman Bonner.
