Phyllis Doreen (Shoemaker) Jackson, age 90, passed away August 23, 2015, in
Robertsdale, AL, formerly of Lake Odessa MI.  She was the daughter of Clyde R.
and Genevee (Cone) Shoemaker, Sr.  She was a graduate of Lake Odessa High
School.  She was married on August 27, 1944 to Marion B. Jackson.  They were
dairy farmers and gladiolus growers, working side by side.

She is leaving behind two daughters, Catherine Sue Jackson and Carol Jean
Hewitt; four grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; eight great great
grandchildren; one brother, Robert R. (Jane) Shoemaker and one sister-in-law,
Joanne Jackson; and lot of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion B. Jackson; parents, Clyde R.
and Genevee (Cone) Shoemaker, Sr.; sisters, Thelma June Shoemaker and Jacquelyn
Jean Young; brother, Clyde R. Shoemaker, Jr.; and two grandchildren, Robin
Lynette Karrar and Timothy Benjamin Karrar.

Memorial services were held at Daphne, AL at the Father’s House on August 30,
2015.  Interment located at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa, MI.  Donations can
be made in Phyllis Doreen Jackson’s name to the Heart Association or Diabetes
Foundation.
