Kristene Jill Jackson, aged 37, of Grand Rapids, passed away October 13, 2006 
due to a brain aneurism.  She was born April 20, 1969 the daughter of Lyle 
Jackson of Clarksville and Nancy Thornton of Saranac Kristi was a very kind, 
generous and loving person who will be dearly missed. She worked in the fine 
dining industry of Grand Rapids for many years including Charley's Crab, 
Sierra Room and Louis Benton Steak House.

She is survived by her loving parents Lyle and Sharon Jackson of Clarksville 
and Nancy Thornton of Saranac, previous husband Den Middleton and special 
friend Lewis Williams; son McCartney Middleton; sisters Lois and Mark Fear of 
Grand Rapids, Janet and John Buche of Saranac and Karen and Jeff Melton of 
Grand Rapids; brother Don Jackson of Oklahoma; step brother, Charles Flowers 
of Grand Rapids; step sisters, Denise and Mark Blackmer of Clarksville, Deanna 
and Randy Everett of Clarksville, Debra and Randy Dintaman of Saranac, and 
several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Sunday 4 p.m. at the Saranac Community Church 
with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. The family will receive friends and 
relatives 2 to 4 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Funeral arrangements 
are being made by Lake Funeral Home of Saranac. You may make memorial 
contributions in Kristene's name for her son Mac's education or a charity of 
your choice.
