Frank William Jacobs, of Ionia, aged 81, passed away Dec. 8, 2009.

He was born May 18, 1928 in Ronald Township, the son of William H. and Mary 
(Halstead) Jacobs. He married Pauline Mae Longdike July 20, 1963. She preceded 
him in death in 1988. Frank graduated from Ionia High School. He worked for 
Gibsons in Greenville for 40 years. 

Frank is survived by his brothers Bruce (Janet) Jacobs of Greenville and Mel 
Jacobs of Lansing and sisters Emma (Wes) Fuller of Paw Paw and Lois Jacobs of 
Traverse City. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Leonard, Earl and Everett. 

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Pastor Tim Deshaw officiating. Interment Tuttle Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral 
home. In lieu of flowers you may make memorial contributions to the family.
