Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 Dec 1977

Evelyn L. Jacobs, 63, of 318 North Jackson, died at Ionia County Memorial
hospital Saturday evening after suffering a heart attack.  She was born June 24,
1914 in Ionia, the daughter of Claude and Bessie Clark and attended Ionia public
schools.

Survivors include one son, Richard Clark of Bureau, Illinois; five daughters
Mrs. Janet Jacobs of Portland, Mrs. Lindner Robotham of Beulah, Carol Clark,
Mrs. Toni Smith and Mrs. Patti Barber of Ionia; four sisters Mrs. Esther
Floratoes of Reading, California; Mrs. Helen Loucks, Mrs. Shirley Miller and
Mrs. Connie Cook of Ionia; two brothers Lawrence Clark of Ionia and Harold Clark
of Orleans; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services are Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Myers Roetman funeral home with Rev.
Marvis Hale of Grace Baptist church officiating.  Burial is in Balcom cemetery.
