When his wife got up some time afterwards he had disappeared, going off barefooted. He was tracked to the railroad track, and there the trace was lost, he has not been found yet, though diligent search has been made. It is feared that he has been drowned as he had been somewhat deranged. The body of M. Jacobs, whose disappearance was mentioned Saturday, was found on Sunday forenoon by Wm. Wedge in a pool of water on the flats nearly directly south of the residence of deceased. It is supposed that in a fit of aberration he threw himself into the water and was drowned. The funeral services were held yesterday. Additional Comments: Age: 53 Funeral: Wednesday, 27 June 1883 Highland Park cemetery Sect. #4 b.
