The funeral services were held at the house on the following day and the remains interred Lakeside. Mr. Jacobson was born in Finland 44 years ago, and came to this country about eighteen years ago and located in Kalamo, Eaton county. For the past two years he has been unable to do any work, and so came to Lake Odessa a few weeks ago and made provisions to be cared for the rest of his days with Mr. and Mrs. Lundquist. The physicians all told him that his case was hopeless. The autopsy, held after his death, by Drs. Snyder and Haskins, in the presence of Drs. Crane and Russ, showed a condition of the heart, known as hypertrophy. The immediate cause of his death was a rupture of the right ventricle of the heart.
