Ionia Sentinel Standard, 10 Aug 1971

Mrs. Odin M. Jacox, 57, of Lake Odessa, died in Butterworth hospital, Grand
Rapids, late Monday evening following a long illness.  Born in Odessa township
on January 3, 1914, she was a daughter of Ben and Cora Mutchler Jackson and
married June 15, 1940 to Odin Jacox of Saranac.  The couple spent most of their
lifetime in the Lake Odessa area except for a short time in Grand Rapids.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Robert, a daughter, Ellen, both at home;
four brothers, Kenneth, Marion, Wayne and LaVerne Jackson of Lake Odessa; two
sisters, Mrs. Marrill Patrick of Saranac, and Mrs. Robert Beard of Lake Odessa.

Services will be at Pickens funeral chapel in lake Odessa at 1:30 p.m. August
12.  Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
