Born July 4, 1921, in Mancelona, she was the daughter of Lee and Lilla Lively Hodgkin. She attended schools in Mancelona. She married George Myers in June 1938, he died in 1944. She married Odin Jacox March 4, 1972, in Lake Odessa; he survives. She was employed by the Dexter Lock Co. of Grand Rapids for 25 years. Surviving in addition to her husband Odin, are; a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Marion) Harris of Lake Odessa; one stepson, Robert Jacox of Lake Odessa; on step daughter, Ellen Jacox of Ionia; five grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her father, Lee Hodgkin of Midland; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Moe of Boyne City; a half brother, Jack Sweat of Oklahoma, and a half sister, Juanity King of East Jordan. Funeral services were Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa, with the Rev. I. C. Peters officiating. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery.
