Errol H. Jameson Sr., 45, passed away at his home in Portland Monday afternoon 
at 4:30 following several months illness.  He had been discharged from St. 
Lawrence hospital, Lansing, about 10 days prior to his death.  

Mr. Jameson and his wife, the former Helen Hall of Portland, owned and 
operated a greenhouse in Portland for a number of years until he retired last 
year because of poor health.  

Mr. Jameson was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Jameson of Portland and was 
born July 19, 1911, in Portland.  He graduated from Portland high school in 
1929 and was a member of the Portland Baptist church.

Surviving are his wife, Helen and three sons, Errol H. Jr., of Grand Rapids, 
Marvin and John at Home; two daughters, Cora Lee of Grand Rapids and Ruth at 
home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Jameson of Portland, and three 
brothers, Donald and Kenneth of Portland and Raymond of Ionia.

Funeral services will be conducted at Neller’s funeral home in Portland 
Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 and interment will be in the Portland cemetery.  
The Rev. Hollis Tiffany, pastor of the Portland Baptist church, will officiate.
