Lake Odessa Times - October 12, 1905
          OBITUARY

   James H.. Jameson was born at Apple Creek, Ohio, in 1829 and died at Stony Creek,
October 4, 1965, his 
wife having preceded him in death a number of years ago.  Three children were born
to them, two of whom 
are dead.  Welker, the only one who survives him, brought his father here for burial
in the Lakeside cemetery 
last Saturday.  Mr. Jameson came to Michigan in 1870 and lived here until 1893 when
he went to Ohio.  He 
was highly respected by all who knew him and was greatly missed in this community
when he moved away.  
Welker, his only living child, make his home in New York where he is in the life
insurance business. Our 
readers will remember that Charles Jameson, a son of the deceased, was a former
postmaster in this village.
