Ionia County News, 3 Jan 1952

Mrs. Grace Janes, 58, died Wednesday morning, January 2, in Pennock Hospital, 
Hastings, after a long illness.  She was born December 26, 1893, in Philo, Ill, 
but had been a resident of Lansing and Lake Odessa for many years.  She was a 
member of the Lake Odessa Rebekah Lodge and D. A. V. Auxiliary, No. 29.

Surviving are her husband, Harry, and one son by an earlier marriage, James 
Wimmer, of Holt, and two grand daughters.  She also leaves three brothers and 
three sisters, all of Lansing.

Rev. Lee Jenkins, of Grace Brethren church, will officiate at the funeral 
service which will be held at two o’clock Saturday afternoon from Pickens 
chapel.  Burial in Lakeside cemetery.
