Deceased had mowed the lawn and shortly thereafter telephoned for her sister, Mrs. Baker, who lived a mile and a half away, to come over, saying she was not feeling well. Shortly thereafter she again telephoned, but was unable to complete her message. When the sister arrived she found Mrs. Janes lying across the bed, and unable to speak. Mrs. Baker telephoned for Dr. Ogden, who started immediately, but Mrs. Janes was dead when he arrived. Mrs. Janes had been complaining for some days, but remarked that morning that she felt as well as usual. It was doubtless heart disease, aggravated by the worry consequent upon her husband’s death. Funeral from the brick church in Orange, at 1 p.m. Saturday. [Transcriber's Note: There is a notation on the obituary card that she was buried in Tuttle Cemetery.] File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/j/janes32432nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/mifiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
