The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, July 8, 1974

A rural Sunfield man, Robert Jarman, 40, died in a Lansing hospital Saturday 
as a result of injuries sustained in an industrial accident at Atlas Drop 
Forge in Lansing about 10 days ago.  His home was in Ionia county.

Born June 1, 1934, in Isabella county, he was the son of Thern and Anna 
Jarman. His mother died in 1953. 

In 1956 he was married in Eaton county to Janyce Meacham and she survives as 
do four daughters, Cheryl Ann, Linda, Susan and Janyce; four sons, Robert Jr., 
Douglas, Steven and Danny, all at home; father; three sisters, Mrs. Betty 
Briggs of Vermontville, Mrs. Wilta Husman of Clarksville and Mary Jarman of 
Sunfield; five brothers, Rex and Ray of Lake Odessa, Dick of Nashville, Bruce 
of Walled Lake and Dale of Saranac.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Mapes-Fisher funeral home at 
Sunfield.  Interment will be at Gilmore cemetery at Farwell.
